====== YUVtool ======

This is never finished project with aim to create a yuv viewer, comparator and editor. We started the project with my friend Remigiusz Wilmont, but we were not able(willing?) to put sufficient effort to make it work. The current, non-functional version of the source code is available from github: [[https://github.com/domin144/YUVtool]].

The differentiating aspect of this tool is extremely flexible file format specification allowing the application to view even most exotic raw video formats. While the application itself never achieved functional state the documentation has some educational value.

News: The application made it for the first time to convert 64x64 yuv420p picture to rgb32bpp and display it on the screen! The application remains non-functional as many of the parameters had to be fixed at compile time and there is an artifact visible in form of red dots.
